What is the scoop on "The Golden Horseshoe" in FrontierLand?


The Golden Horseshoe Saloon is one of the original buildings dating back to the park's opening in 1955.  Walt Disney would watch the shows in his private box upstairs to the left of the stage.

Looks like the folks at Disney are making some kind of update to the Golden Horseshoe?  

Last Thursday, Duffy and I found a large tarp on the building
