New Menu Make-Over for Disneyland and California Adventure

Duffy and I love the convenience to eat in the Disney Parks and in Downtown Disney.  However, as Annual Passholders, sometimes we crave something more "upscale" to enjoy while in the Parks.

Well, we have great news!  A new menu makeover has begun starting with the Village Haus and Hungry Bear restaurants in Disneyland.  Among the top sellers for the new menu at the Village Haus is the meat-heavy, pastrami-and-beef Angus burger and a the BLT style flatbread pizza topped with bacon, arugula and fennel.

The Hungry Bear offers oversized sandwiches that can be easily shared by two.  The sweet potato friends are a nice alternative to french fries and the honeybee cupcakes are very cute and super-tasty too!!

California Adventure has re-themed one of their restaurants boasting bolder flavors and healthier dishes, as well a new specialty beer stand.

Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta (formally Pizza Oom Mow Mow), is is scheduled to open July 1st, and will serve flatbread with Pesto, Artichokes and Mozzarella, Ricottasalata and Pecorino Romano cheeses.  Follow you nose and find the window where they are  pulling the flatbreads out of the ovens.

Nearby Paradise Garden Grill (formerly Burger Invasion), will feature a menu of healthy Mediterranean-in-spired foods such a Pitas, Salads and Kabobs.

Bayside Brews, will serve warm salted pretzels and various types of domestic and specialty brews, including Sierra Nevada and Karl Strauss beers.

Next week, Disneyland Hotel plans to open Tangaroa Terrace and Trader Sam's - a tiki-themed restaurant and bar (formally Hooks Pointe Seafood Restaurant & Lost Bar cocktail lounge).  Menu items include -- Tamarind-glazed Pork Shanks and Kalua Pork flatbread to enjoy with your Rum-soaked fruit cocktails

I'm getting hungry, how about you Duffy?
