Four Mexican Riviera Voyages no Longer available in 2012 - Is the ship leaving the West Coast?

Well, Duffy -- there may be some pretty sad news coming later this New Year!

It was just announced that the Disney Wonder can cancelled all bookings for the December 9, 16, 23rd and December 30th voyages in 2012.

We urging Families that are thinking about sailing to Alaska or Mexico in 2012 to book now, as the Disney Wonder may not be sailing the West Coast in 2013.

Duffy, I'm thinking that we need to book Alaska and Mexico right now for best rates and availability.

Pixie Diane suggests having a "Hearty breakfast before heading into the Disneyland Parks"

Before heading into the Disneyland Parks, come to Downtown Disney early and enjoy a tasty breakfast at La Brea Bakery Express located right across from the shuttle drop of and outside the main entrance to Disneyland and California Adventure.
We enjoyed the Egg &  Bagel Breakfast entree with orange juice.  The oversized onion bagel was panini grilled offering a little extra crunch and texture.  The warmed and grilled fresh tomato was a nice touch bringing a little moistness to the generous helping of scrambled egg.  This dish was accompanied with a side of freshly fried potatoes cut into square chunks.
We enjoyed the ambience of  being outside in the morning sun and people watching those making their way into the Parks.
We were entertained by local sparrows as they made their way around to search for crumbs.
This was a very relaxing beginning to our day at the Disneyland Parks.
Breakfast served until 11:00 a.m.
Please let us know if I can assist you in your future Disney vacation planning

Pixie Diane will ask you: Are 10 Scoops of Ice Cream enough?

We were a large group enjoying lunch at the Whispering  Canyon Cafe.  The Whispering Canyon Cafe is located just to the left as you enter the lobby of Disney's Wilderness Lodge at Walt Disney World.
After enjoying several Canyon Skillets (all-you-care-to-enjoy) with smoked pork ribs and oven roasted chicken, pork sausage served with will all of the fixin's,(cowboy beans, corn on the cob, creamy coleslaw, mashed potatoes, and fresh baked cornbread).  Our server brought out this huge platter of peach and berry cobbler with 10  scoops of vanilla ice cream on top.
Are 10 scoops of ice cream enough?
You be the judge.

Pixie Diane says "So this is love....Mmmmmmmmm"

Let me make your advanced reservation to Cafe Orleans, located in New Orleans Square and order the Three Cheese Monte Cristo (Mozzarella, swiss and brie). This dish is also available with the traditional ham for those interested in a un-vegan dish. Do not recommend ordering the Pommes Frites with the Monte Crisco as it will be too much of a fried experience. The La Salade de Maison (House salad) would be a nice pairing.
When my Monte Cristo arrived, it was not what I expected. I had envisioned layered cheese on sliced bread, batter dipped and fried to perfection. What I received was a crusty with soft dough of cheesy warm goodness in a log shaped form sliced into four (4) portions that reminded me of a hearty buttermilk donut. This dish is lightly dusted with powdered sugar, so when you bite into the warm and crunchy and cheesy goodness you'll taste the sweetness of sugar at the end.
Thankfully, the berry dipping sauce is less sweet and comes on the side in a small ramekin. Strawberries and red grapes will mostly likely accompany your Cristo which seems innocent enough, but will in essence bring additional sugar content onto your plate in an un-guilty sort of way.
I enjoyed this dish so much, that I woke up the next day wondering when I would return to Cafe Orleans at Disneyland!
