Our beloved Matterhorn Bobsleds donated to National Roller Coaster Museum and Archive
Will never forget that day as we were in line for the Matterhorn Bobsleds in the Disneyland Park and it was announced "today is the last day to ride the bobsleds as they were being replaced".
These bobsled vehicles have been coasting through the Matterhorn mountain in the Disneyland park since 1978. It's sad to think that this writer rode and celebrated her high school Grad Nite in this same year.
But no tears, for these two bobsled "now artifacts" can be viewed for a "walk down memory lane".
The bobsleds have been moved over to the National Roller Coaster Museum and Archive in Plainview, Texas. While I'm not sure that I'll be in the Plainview area anytime soon, it's nice to know that this Disney Fan has an option to visit her youth.

Mater's Junkyard Jamboree to be easier on you Back!
Officially, Mater's Junkyard Jamboree opened on June 15th this Summer.
As of early October, Disney's is already improving Mater's Junkyard Jamboree vehicles in Disney California Adventure Park as guests have provided their concerns of ride comfort and some have reported injuries.
All are invited to return to the ride to enjoy it's update of added padding unto the back of the seats near the shoulder areas with non-skid material to be added onto the seats (to prevent guests from sliding into each other).
Although some would argue that it's part of the fun when your sliding and crushing into your fellow ride partner.

Toy Story Midway Mania Secret #1 (Shhhhh....)
We have all experienced Toy Story Midway Mania, but, many of us are interested in building up our scores.
Let's begin with the first secret to building higher scores when riding the Toy Story Midway Mania ride in Disney's California Adventure.
Shoot the fox that is on top of the hen house (500 points). This will produce several chicken to run out of the hen house, shoot the chickens and repeat (1000-2000).
Keep practicing, Secret #2 will be coming soon. . .
